RC80 Rotating-Head Cutoff Lathe

The RC80 rotary-head tube cutoff lathe is largest of the RC line, cutting and chamfering tubes up 9 inch diameter. These cut-off lathes can cut, face, chamfer and groove tubes quickly and efficiently, eliminating secondary operations and reducing labor. Hautau rotating-head cutoff lathes offer the most advanced alternative to conventional lathe and saw cut-off systems.

The RC80 cuts tubes from 3.5" to 9", with wall thickness from .065 to 1.50", and the tube chucks adjust automatically to the programmed diameter, so there's no downtime for collet or jaw replacement. The hitch-feeder has a powerful hydraulic servo drive that moves heavy tubes at up to 30”/second.

The 30HP headstock has the power to support the latest carbide tooling, ensuring fast chip removal at high feed rates. Constant surface speed (CSS) control improves tools life and maintains optimum production rates.
