Tube Handling Equipment

To insure that you get the most out of your tube cutting system, you need an efficient and dependable method for handling the cut-off tubes.  Even the best tube cutting system can be crippled by downstream bottlenecks. 

We offer a full range of tube handling solutions, from simple runout tables to automated transfers into our endfinishing systems.

Runout Tables are our most popular tube handling solution.  These feature a large 42" x 60" Blanchard-ground top with adjustable angle and height, providing an area to accumulate cut tubes for packing, sorting or inspection.

Runout tables can be supplied with automatic height adjustment for applications that require diameter changes.

Our Runout Conveyors are a flexible approach to sorting and moving the cut-off tubes to packaging, measuring or boring/beveling equipment.  These dependable systems are designed for handling cut lengths of 6" or longer and tube diameters above 2". Diverter gates allow trim cuts and secondary cut lengths to be automatically separated from the primary product flow, and can also feed directly from our tube cutoff machine to an endfinisher.

For the ultimate in process control, we offer Tube Inspection Systems that perform 100% checking of tube length, bore, and straightness.  Length data is logged for SPC purposes, and the cutoff machine makes automatic length adjustments to insure consistent product quality.

These systems feature servo-controlled grippers so that short and long tubes can be transferred and checked in synch with the cut-off process, positively and without conveyors.
